friends
"friends change, but you should never change friends", patti. 
i have an addition to that, "problems are inevitable and there is no such thing as a perfect friendship. more often than not, friends see their problems as an indication of one's incompetence. what they do not know is that in order for a problem to come about, there should be at least more than one person involved, otherwise, the problem would be intrapersonal (ibig sabihin, may sayad). friendship is a give and take relationship, you can't just take and take and not give anything at all. "giving and taking" is different from "giving and asking for more in return" giving should be done in one's own initiative and willingness. friendship isn't about knowing who's right in every argument nor it is about being the first to say sorry after a fight, it's about accepting one's imperfections and forgiving each other for every mistake committed. last but not the least, if two people (or more, for that matter) really are friends, they should be able withstand any problem that will come their way, regardless it's nature. no guy/girl is ever worth giving up a friendship for".
